  1. The device may display inaccurate temperatures during and immediately after the initial WiFi setup. This is due to the intensive WiFi usage that raises the device's internal temperature. It typically takes 15-30 minutes for the device to adjust to its surrounding environment following setup.
  2. Holding the device in your hand or placing it on a warm surface, or exposing it to full sunlight, can cause its temperature to rise noticeably.
  3. Using a Micro-USB for power means the device will operate in USB connection mode for the first 15 minutes, potentially increasing its internal temperature. If you've just connected your device to a USB power source, please allow approximately 30-45 minutes for the device to exit USB connection mode and stabilize with its environment.
  4. Setting the data syncing frequency too high, such as every minute, can cause the device's internal temperature to rise due to frequent WiFi use. The default sync frequency is set at 30 minutes, but it is advised to set the sync frequency to more than 10 minutes to avoid this issue.
  5. If you're concerned that WiFi usage might affect internal temperature sensor readings, consider purchasing one of our external temperature probes. Visit our website at https://www.ubibot.com/products/ for details on the suitable probe for your device.
  6. If your device still shows incorrect readings after a few hours, please reach out to our support team for assistance.
