When your WiFi network is unavailable, the device continues to gather environmental data and stores it in its internal memory.
Here are several methods to access your device's data without a WiFi connection:
- Move the Device to a WiFi-enabled Area: Relocate the device to an area with WiFi connectivity it can connect to. Press the button to initiate a manual data sync. The indicator will flash green for a few seconds. Afterwards, you can return the device to its original measurement location (Recommended).
- Use Internet Connection Sharing on Your Mobile Phone: This method is effective in scenarios where the device is installed in areas with limited or no WiFi access.
- Connect via Laptop and Micro USB Cable: Manually connect the device to a laptop using a Micro USB cable. This allows you to export data directly to your computer using the PC Offline Tools.
- View Offline Data Charts with PC Offline Tools: Select the “Offline Charts” option in the menu bar, then click “Load Data” to open a new page displaying the data charts.
- Set Up with a Mobile Data Card: If your device supports it*, setting it up with a mobile data card allows you to sync all data with the IoT platform once within network range by pressing the power button once.
*Availability of this feature depends on the specific model purchased.
